Do you Squidoo? An Affiliate Marketers Secret!

One of the tools used in affiliate marketing is a website called Squidoo. I know, the name

sounds funny for a website, but after you get over the funny sounding name you should know that as an Internet marketer, Squidoo is a marketing tool you would want to use to it’s full potential.

Here are five ways you can use Squidoo in your Internet marketing endeavor:

1. Become a Lensmaster. The web pages you create at Squidoo are referred to as a lens. A person who creates a lens is referred to as a lensmaster. Once you create a lens and publish it, Squidoo will then place ads around your lens and the revenues generated from the lens are shared between Squidoo and the lens master. There are lens masters at squidoo who make a living just from the lens revenues they created.

2. Selling your own Ebook. Many people use squidoo to promote there own products. For example if you were to write an ebook, you could use Squidoo to market your ebook by creating a lens to tell everyone about your product.

3. Sell other peoples products. Now this is one of the reasons I love Squidoo. As an affiliate marketer, I have the opportunity to promote any product that I am an affiliate with using the Squidoo platform. Promoting other peoples products using Squidoo can be done in two ways. Squidoo has modules you can use that will filter products from places like Amazon.com, Ebay, Netflix and CafePress just to name a few. You can also create a module and add your affiliate code from any company you are affiliated with.

4. Drive Traffic to your website. Another benefit of becoming a lens master is to use Squidoo to bring traffic to your website or blog. Squidoo is a PR 7 site and is listed highly in the search engines. You could build a lens and add your website link through the lens. Once your lens starts receiving traffic, your website traffic will automatically increase.

5. Become a Squidoo Affiliate. You could promote Squidoo and promote your squidoo affiliate link. Then when someone signs up for Squidoo and builds a lens and once your lens earns $15.00, the signup will earn $5.00. So signing up using my affiliate link will benefit both of us in the long run *wink*.
