Niche Affiliate Marketing-Understanding Google

A big key in doing niche affiliate marketing is to have a clear understanding of how Google works. Google is the largest search engine on the Internet. Think of Google as a huge database filled with websites. Google is not the only website database on the Internet, there are other search engines like yahoo, ask, Msn and many others. For the purpose of what we are doing we will focus mainly on Google since this is the most used search engine online.

The image above shows a search for the keyword phrase “affiliate marketing income”.

The websites on the right of the screen are called natural searches because these come up naturally depending on the keywords used to find them. These sites have been optimized, and Google places these sites in the search engine according to their relevancy to the term being searched for. For niche affiliate marketing we want to be listed on the first page of google for our keyword terms.

The websites on the left of the screen are sites that pay Google to be listed in their search engines. The sites bid on keywords and are listed from the highest bidder to the lowest bidder. This is called Google AdWords. Any one with a website can become an AdWords advertiser if they are willing to pay to be listed in Google. AdWords can be a dangerous game to play if you are not familiar with how it works. You can lose your shirt if you don’t know the rules to that game.

I will be teaching you how to get listed in Google the natural way by using effective SEO (search engine optimization) methods. You will learn techniques to find the right keywords, create a website and optimize your website effectively for niche affiliate marketing. Don’t worry about this for now, in the mean time get familiar with Google and how Google works. There are thousands of websites being created each day. You will be ahead of the game with the information you will learn on Affiliate marketing Income.com.
