Niche Affiliate Marketing

For the purpose of this blog I will explain how I make money online doing niche affiliate marketing. There are steps to follow if you want to learn niche marketing the right way. The word Niche is used when you are referring to a specific area.  The mistake many people make in niche marketing is being too general or becoming too specific.

If you are starting niche affiliate marketing for the first time I would advice you to start off with a niche you like and know well. You will find that when you write about things you know it is easier for your potential customers to believe you. I could never do a niche on coin collecting because I have zero interest in the topic and have no prior knowledge on coin collecting, therefore it would be very hard for me to write on the topic. Sure I could do some research online and be able to gather information that would get me through it but I would not have passion for what I am trying to sell. On the other hand, I know a lot about the stock market and could probably do a pretty good job on teaching others how to get started on the  stock market. So, I would do well if I decided to do a niche affiliate marketing site on this topic.

So the first step in Niche Affiliate Marketing is choosing a topic you like and know about. You do not need to be an expert on the topic, you just need to choose a topic of interest and later on we will discuss how to become profitable on this topic. So for the next couple of days your lessen is to choose 5 topics that you like and think of specific niches with in those topics. So, for example, if your topic of interest is “shoes” then your niche could be “designer shoes” or if you are a lover of cooking then your niche can be something like “Cuban cooking recipes”.  So choose 5 niches you are interested in and then narrow down each niche.
