Working Your Goals Backwards

Posted by Admin | June 23, 2010 .

Last night I attended an online Mastermind group sponsored by a member of the niche blogger, the goal of the mastermind group is to keep like minded people focused on our goals in a positive environment.

One of the questions that was posed to me was ” What was my biggest struggle working online”? and my reply was “staying on track”. With out a doubt this has always been a struggle. It turned out that I am not alone in this struggle. Many Online Marketers struggle with this problem. I shared with the group what I was doing to help over come this problem and today I wanted to share this with you.

How Am I Overcoming the “Online Distraction Factor“?

I discovered a fantastic website called Productive Flourishing, by Charlie Gilkey. Mr. Gilkey created these Premium Planners help systems for you to get your stuff done in the time that you have. Love that! You can buy them each individually or you can buy the set, they are very inexpensive and run $12 each or $22. for the entire set.

I purchased the yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily Premium Planners. Here is how I work these planners.

Yearly Planner:

Here I wrote my ultimate goals for the entire year.

Monthly Planner:

Here I wrote all my goals for the current month.

Weekly Planner:

I wrote my goals for the current week.

Daily Planner:

My current goals for the specific day.

So now I can see my ultimate yearly goals laid out by smaller increments e.g daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

These Premium Planners have already helped me in so many ways, you can see the results on my last post. I have been really productive since using this strategy.

I bought these planners last week, thank you again for sharing this. The planners truly help with personal productivity and creativity. For the last couple of weeks I had been suffering from writer’s block. The blogging planner helped come up with ideas to blog about. Got 9 posts knocked out today!!!
